About the job

  • Clean hands + clean animal, contaminated samples cannot be typed.
  • Avoid hair from other animals at all costs.
  • Pluck hair against the direction of growth.

  • For successful typing, 50 – 100 hair roots are required.

    • Unfold the adhesive foil.
    • Place hair roots on the opened card.
    • Fold the foil back and cover the hair with the foil.
    • Press the edge of the adhesive foil firmly.
    • Cut off any protruding hair.
    • Close the card with the paper tab.
    • Stick the TVD glue on the hair card and compare again with the ear tag.
    • Be sure to leave the pre-printed barcode on the hair card free.
    • Enter the order online with the breeding organisation and print out the order form.
