rubmedia is an established communications service provider in the capital region. At our modern location in Köniz, around 35 employees create cross-media publications in digital and print for clients from services, industry, associations, and politics. We produce on one of the first Heidelberg Jetfire 50 (InkJet) printers in Switzerland and manage the entire workflow fully automated.

To keep it that way, we are looking for you. A personality who keeps our IT running securely, understands media automation and web topics, and helps us further develop information security.

What you will achieve with us
At the centre of your work is the stable IT operation in a mixed Windows/macOS environment. You are the central point of contact, internally for our employees, externally for our clients regarding questions about media automation, from the editorial system through DAM and Web2Print to the interfaces in production.

• Operation and further development of the IT infrastructure
• Support of the Microsoft 365 environment as well as Windows and macOS workstations
• Operational responsibility for data security
• Co-design in the secure use of AI in media production, IT operations, and information security
• Central contact point for media automation: editorial system, DAM, Web2Print, interfaces to print production
• Implementation and technical support of customer websites (especially WordPress)
• First-level support for our employees as well as for our clients
• Collaboration and interface with the external IT service provider
• Clean, comprehensible documentation as a matter of course
  

What distinguishes you

• Degree in computer science, media informatics, polygraphy, technical polygraphy, or comparable
• Several years of experience in IT operations and/or media automation
• Confident in mixed environments (Windows and macOS)
• Experience with the implementation and support of websites (e.g. WordPress) is a plus
• Affinity for IT security
• First experiences with AI in professional use – advanced know-how is a plus
• Structured, documentation-strong working style; pragmatic rather than perfectionist
• Fluent German
