Are you looking for a meaningful task where you can accompany and support children in their school day? In our school-based care as well as in the teaching at Littau Village Primary School, you will find a varied environment, a dedicated team, and the chance to joyfully apply your educational skills.
Your tasks
- You actively participate in the care team and create a professional, child-appropriate relationship and support.
- You are a reliable contact person for children and parents and conduct parent meetings if needed.
- You maintain contact with teachers, caretakers, and other school professionals.
- You mainly work during school weeks, Monday to Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
- You accompany children before lessons in early morning care three days a week from 7:00 to 8:00 a.m. if needed.
- You accompany the children as a class assistant in one class on Monday 8:00-10:00 a.m., Tuesday 2:00-3:00 p.m., Thursday 2:00-4:00 p.m., and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Your profile
- You have completed social pedagogical, socio-cultural, or educational training (EFZ or HF/FH degree required).
- You work according to the solution-oriented approach.
- You have experience and enjoy accompanying children aged 4 to 13, supporting and assisting them in their daily lives.
- You empathize with the children’s world and confidently handle culturally and age-mixed groups.
- You convince with your empathetic, appreciative, and team-oriented manner and actively contribute to our school life.
- You have experience in administrative and planning tasks.
- You work independently, reliably, and communicate openly, clearly, and transparently.
