About Us
We are a newly formed startup based in Geneva. Our main purpose is to offer a variety of financial products to various SMEs, initially within Switzerland and eventually surrounding countries. We believe in fairness and transparancy within the financial sector and are primarily focused on offering innovative services involving foreign exchange/financial risk management. As a result of this new inititive, we are offering someone the chance to become one of our first employees.
The Role
As our Sales & Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for getting the word out about our company in Switzerland. You will work closely with the Founder and our Head of Design. You'll be responsible for attracting our first clients and creating our full marketing strategy.
At SwissFx we have a real emphasis on trust and integrity and this will be critical to our message.
Since we're a very new company, you should be happy to build things from scratch without much ready-made infrastructure.
What You'll Be Doing
- Responsible for sales & marketing strategy across all channels, both online and offline
- Identify key targets, contact & maintain relationships with leads
- Create and manage publicity campaigns, including media outreach, partnerships, and events
- Build and grow our social media presence, tone of voice, and content
- Responsibility for SEO, content marketing to bring in new business
- Identify and experiment with growth channels - Organic, paid, partnerships, or community
- Act as the brand guardian - making sure all of our communications are consistent and have a personal human feeling to them
- Work with our Head of Design to bring campaigns to life
- Track various relevent metrics to continuously test and learn to improve performance
About You
- Possess 3-5 years or more experience in sales, marketing, or growth roles (startup/finance experience is valuable)
- A people person who naturally builds relationships with ease (customers, media, partners)
- Strong communication skills, ideally across the major Swiss languages. You should be able to tell our story in a human/personable manner
- You should be happy to reach out to clients in a range of ways and happy to pick up the phone if required
- Comfortable with a wide variety of tasks, ranging from strategy to execution, you must be able to plan a campaign and write posts
- Experience with analytics tools is important
- A friendly, energetic person who wants to stamp their personality onto a very young startup company with big ambitions
- Determined, tenacious and willing to help SMEs, able to challenge established brands/traditional ways of doing things
