For the LIN Instrument Electronics and Controls group, we are looking for a
Your tasks
- Electrical and application engineering in the field of electrical drive technology, positioning systems, and automation for research at the Centre for Neutron and Muon Research (CNM)
- Design, planning, implementation, and commissioning of motion control (Maxon ZUB, Deltatau, Technosoft, etc.), PLC, and pneumatic applications for scientific instrument and plant construction
- Provision and programming of already established motion control systems
- Development, provision, and programming of Siemens PLC systems
- Carrying out maintenance work on the machines
Your profile
- Completed B.Sc. degree (FH) or Diploma Technician (HF) in electrical and information engineering, systems engineering, or equivalent expertise
- Good background in electronics, sensors/actuators, measurement technology, drive technology, and automation
- Very good specialist knowledge in the field of PLC and their programming (ideally Siemens Simatic, ST/SCL + FUP)
- Knowledge of C programming, control engineering, and ideally also pneumatics
- Knowledge of network systems and topologies
- Reliability, independent action, and team spirit
- Good communication skills
- Good German and English skills, both spoken and written
