Do you want to design technical solutions, influence architectural decisions and at the same time work close to the business? In a small, agile team you can make a big impact with us – while combining the advantages of a local company with the technological possibilities of a global corporation.

As an IT Business Service Manager, you take responsibility for demanding IT and digitalisation projects. You combine technical understanding, project management and business proximity and actively shape our regional as well as international application landscape.

Your tasks:

• You lead the introduction of group-wide IT solutions on site and implement local digitalisation, automation and integration projects
• You analyse business requirements, evaluate technical solution options and translate these into viable concepts, specifications and target architectures
• You work on topics such as interfaces/API connections, data integration, process automation, cloud solutions and the modernisation of our application landscape
• You take on professional and technical responsibility towards internal departments, group units and external service providers
• You prepare decision-making bases for management and actively contribute your technical assessment to roadmaps, make-or-buy considerations and architectural decisions

Your profile:

• A completed degree in computer science, business informatics or a comparable technical field
• Several years of experience in software development, solution engineering, technical project management or business-oriented IT consulting
• Sound understanding of system architectures, interfaces, APIs, data models and modern IT landscapes
• Experience in leading or coordinating IT projects as well as enjoyment in mediating between business, IT and external partners
• You do not have to develop productively every day, but bring enough technical depth to be able to assess code, interfaces and architectural decisions thoroughly and validate them prototypically if necessary
• An open, curious personality with a strong can-do mentality, analytical thinking and enjoyment of pragmatic solutions
• Confidence in agile as well as classical methods; experience with tools such as Jira and Confluence is an advantage
• Knowledge of Azure Cloud, MS SQL Server, Windows Server, automation, Power Platform or automotive/enterprise IT is a plus
• Fluent German and English skills
