Medical Coder

Your tasks include:

• Coding of inpatient treatment cases according to applicable SwissDRG guidelines
• Ensuring audit-proof, complete and correct coding
• Processing insurance inquiries and invoice rejections
• Assisting with internal hospital training on reporting (doctors, nurses, etc.)

At the interface between clinics, administration and finance, medical coding forms the basis for the correct billing of inpatient treatment cases under SwissDRG.

This is how you convince us:

• Solid medical basic training (e.g. nurse with several years of clinical experience and specialization in ICU, anesthesia, emergency)
• Several years of experience in medical coding (ICD-10, CHOP, DRG)
• Federal specialist certificate as a medical coder or willingness to obtain it
• Comprehensive medical knowledge and several years of experience in hospital routine
• Analytical thinking personality with proficient PC user skills
