• Technical and personnel management of 7 to 9 employees 
• Overall responsibility for project and system procurement across all project phases
• Leadership and development of the subdivision
• Ensuring competitive procurement while adhering to budget, quality, and deadline requirements
• Conducting negotiations with key suppliers as well as operational support in day-to-day business as an escalation level
• Risk management in the supply chain and proactive escalation in case of deviations
• Regular reporting to senior management
• Support with material calculations in the sales process of customer projects

• Proven leadership experience in the railway industry or plant engineering
• University degree (ETH/UNI/FH) in engineering or economics
• Demonstrable negotiation successes in procurement at various levels
• Pragmatic and implementation-strong personality with the ability to inspire people for common goals
• Fluent language skills in German and English, any additional language is an advantage
• SAP knowledge is an advantage
