Production Optimisation Technician (m/f/d)

You take on a central function at the interface between development, production and technical departments and ensure that changes and new developments are efficiently transferred into series production. In doing so, you optimise production processes, assembly workflows and ERP-supported planning structures and ensure consistently high manufacturing quality through appropriate testing and documentation processes. At the same time, you coordinate prototypes and pre-series, support with technical complaints and represent the group management in the assembly area if necessary.
Responsibilities:
Coordination and implementation of changes in series production including maintenance of relevant master data
Technical support of development for new products and accompaniment of development projects up to production implementation
Planning, creation and ongoing updating of work instructions as well as training of employees
Coordination of collaboration between design, testing, quality assurance, product management, support and service
Organisation and accompaniment of assembly of prototypes, functional types and zero series
Further development of production planning and efficient use of the ERP system Microsoft Business Central
Analysis and optimisation of assembly processes, workplaces and manufacturing workflows
Support in processing and sustainable clarification of supplier and assembly deviations
Maintenance and further development of ERP master data and production processes
Establishment and optimisation of intermediate inspections to ensure assembly quality at an early stage
Deputising for the group management of accessory assembly/workshop during absences
Qualifications:
Completed higher technical education, for example as a technician HF or equivalent
Several years of professional experience in device or mechanical engineering, ideally in an industrial production environment
Experience in series support, process optimisation and production planning
Confident handling of ERP systems and good general PC user skills
Strong hands-on mentality and enjoyment in practically implementing technical topics
High quality awareness as well as a structured and solution-oriented working style
Strong self-responsibility, independence and reliability
Communication skills and enjoyment in collaborating with different departments
Willingness to take responsibility and actively further develop processes
Fluent German skills in spoken and written form
