About the job
Your Tasks
- You work in close collaboration with the emergency doctor of the eye clinic
- You mainly work late shifts during the week or on weekends and public holidays in early or late shifts
- You are responsible for the admission and care of the patients assigned to you during medical consultations
- You independently perform measurements such as autorefractors, autokeratometry, and pachymetry.
- You perform blood draws and insert peripheral venous catheters in preparation for various examinations or infusions.
- You administer eye drops according to the doctor's orders.
- You apply eye bandages to patients as prescribed by the doctor.
- You perform eye rinses
- You plan and coordinate appointments for consultations and manage patient administration. You are also responsible for the smooth running of the consultation hours.
Your Profile
- You have completed vocational training with a certificate of competence as a medical practice assistant.
- You have good IT skills and possess organizational abilities and a quick grasp.
- You are a flexible and service-oriented person who works reliably, efficiently, and independently.
- Willingness to work shifts.
