Service Engineer IT/OT & Cybersecurity Services 100%
You operate at the interface of IT, Operational Technology (OT) and cybersecurity, ensuring that our systems in the railway environment are operated safely, stably and reliably. In this versatile role, you combine technical expertise with service responsibility, work closely with customers, engineering and project teams, and make an important contribution to the availability and security of critical infrastructures.
Your tasks
- You ensure the reliable operation of our IT/OT systems and service platforms, analyse technical faults based on monitoring, log and operational data, and develop sustainable solutions to ensure a high level of service quality.
- You support the service organisation with technical special issues, escalations as well as maintenance and service deployments and take on technical responsibility in demanding operational situations.
- You conduct vulnerability analyses and vulnerability assessments, support vulnerability and risk management, coordinate patch management measures and contribute to compliance with cybersecurity and compliance requirements in safety-critical environments.
- You are responsible for the technical traceability of systems, maintain asset and lifecycle information and support obsolescence and modernisation issues.
- You analyse causes of faults using root cause analyses, prepare technical reports and recommendations, maintain a structured knowledge database and contribute to the continuous improvement of services, processes and standards.
- You accompany service projects from planning through handover to operation, work closely with project managers, engineering teams and external partners, and support customer presentations and technical reviews.
Your profile
- Completed training or studies in computer science, systems engineering, electrical engineering, automation, telecommunications or a comparable technical field.
- Several years of experience in several of the following areas:
- IT infrastructures, networks and communication systems, Windows server environments, virtualisation, OT systems, railway technology, cybersecurity, service operations
- Knowledge in incident management, problem management, root cause analysis, vulnerability management, patch management as well as asset management.
- Experience in creating technical documentation as well as a structured and methodical way of working.
- Very good German and English skills
- Analytical thinking, high customer and service orientation as well as enjoyment in solving technical challenges independently.
- Willingness to work night shifts and be on call.
