About the job
What is my role?
Support and ensure the technical availability of the automation systems at the Zell site in the areas of production, logistics and building services / infrastructure
Support and further development of the overarching server systems in the automation and operational technology environment (HMI, SCADA, PLS, Data Historian, MES, WMS)
Willingness to work between 5:00 am and 10:00 pm
Interface function between users, IT, engineering and suppliers
Execution and support of projects in the field of automation (e.g. optimisation, adaptation, expansion, modernisation) on plants and systems
Integration of plants, systems and components into the structure
Support during commissioning and production support of highly complex plants
Contribute your expertise to provide professional support to various maintenance and project teams
What do I need to be successful?
Successfully completed technician training, ideally with prior basic training as an electrician, electronics technician, automation technician or computer scientist
Solid practical experience in programming and commissioning of PLC controls and visualisation systems, especially Siemens S7 (Step 7 Classic / TIA Portal) and WinCC, as well as knowledge of fieldbus systems such as ProfiNet
Very good German language skills in spoken and written form are required, English skills are desirable
Practical experience with IT systems (Windows client, server, network environments)
Proven experience in the implementation and coordination of automation projects
Knowledge in the area of MES or WMS systems is an advantage
