You work 100% in Zug or partially remote
This position offers you
- You do not simply accept requirements – you actively shape them. Together with our stakeholders, you define the business logic, align it with the system architecture, and ensure a clean coordination with UI and BSP
- Software design is more than documentation for you. Using methods like UML, you develop clear, efficient designs and ensure that business logic, UI, and BSP work seamlessly together
- Whether C/C++ or model-based development – you advance our device software. You develop both the embedded software and the associated configuration software
- Tests are a central part of our development. Together with application technology and electronics, you validate the business logic and interfaces – supported by PC simulations and automated test scripts
- You will be part of an agile team that works according to SAFe or Scrum and grows together to continuously improve processes, collaboration, and quality
You bring the following to the position
- You have a degree in computer science or a comparable technical field and bring several years of professional experience in software development
- For the development of our embedded software, you have very good knowledge of C/C++ and use it confidently to implement complex functions performantly and reliably
- You bring solid experience in software development – from the conception of new applications through continuous development to sustainable maintenance and optimisation of existing systems
- Modern technologies interest you, and you are motivated to familiarise yourself with new topics and integrate them into our system landscape
- A results-oriented working style, high quality standards, and strong implementation skills characterise you
- You have excellent German and English skills, both spoken and written

V-ZUG Software Engineering
V-ZUG Software Engineering is a division within the Technology Department. In close collaboration with innovation development, product management, IT, production, and other departments, we are responsible for the software of our household appliances in the kitchen and textile sectors. Furthermore, we design the digital channels such as the V-ZUG Home App, the V-ZUG Diagnosis App, VZUG.com, as well as our IoT platform, through which external partners are integrated into our ecosystem. As a software team, we accompany our products throughout their entire lifecycle – from the initial idea to operation.
