About the job
What you can achieve
- Support and coordination of clinical studies in oncology
- Blood processing, sample handling and technical laboratory work
- Preparation of samples for biological, chemical and biochemical analyses in a BSL1-2 laboratory environment
- Organisation and management of biobanking processes
- Documentation according to GCP as well as collaboration with sponsors and study partners
- Participation in the development and creation of new study protocols as well as in the preparation of SOPs and project reports
What you bring with you
- Training in the laboratory field (e.g. BMA HF, MTA, Biomedical Laboratory Technician) or a scientific university degree
- Experience in clinical studies or translational research
- Knowledge in blood processing (e.g. PBMCs, cfDNA) and laboratory processes
- Basic molecular biological techniques such as DNA extraction and PCR, experience with NGS is an advantage
- Experience in handling tissue samples, especially in tissue embedding and in the creation of tissue microarrays, is an advantage
- Flexibility and adaptability in handling different topics and tasks
- Willingness to learn and apply new methods and technologies
- Structured and precise working style
- Very good German skills, English skills are an advantage
