About the job

The Zug Cantonal Hospital is dedicated to the health of the population of the Canton of Zug and the surrounding regions. Around 1200 employees, including 180 in training and further education, work in various fields. Every year, we treat and care for over 11,500 inpatients and more than 70,000 outpatients. In the interdisciplinary emergency centre, more than 27,500 people are treated annually.

For our Pulmonology department, we are looking for a Medical Practice Assistant 60 - 100% (m/f/d) starting 1 October 2026 or by arrangement.

Your Tasks

Performing lung function tests, respiratory polygraphy (sleep diagnostics) and spiroergometry (together with the supervising physician)
Management of patients with sleep apnoea
Planning and organisation of specialist pulmonology consultations
Administrative tasks including service recording and maintaining the electronic patient record
Participation in bronchoscopies (entire diagnostic spectrum including cryobiopsies) and other interventional procedures (pleural puncture, PleurX catheter insertions, etc.) if interested
Team leadership possible if suitable

Your Profile

Completed training as a Medical Practice Assistant
Experience in consultation organisation and patient administration
Independent, structured and efficient working style
Reliable, flexible and resilient personality with organisational talent
