Internship with a focus on "City Pastoral Care" (60 - 100 %) Nearly 28,000 members support and shape the Catholic Church in the St. Gallen area. Over 100 full-time employees work together with more than 1,000 volunteers to create church life in various neighborhoods and with all age groups. The City Pastoral Care works creatively, reaches out to a diverse range of people, and tries to develop new approaches to the church. In this unusual and versatile work, we seek support and at the same time want to offer the opportunity to gain a special experience in the church. Additionally, assignments in the cathedral and city parishes are also part of the role.
Start date: August 15, 2025, or by arrangement. Duration: 6 - 12 months. Your tasks

  • Assisting in the design and implementation of new pastoral frameworks for young adults
Your profile
  • Openness and curiosity for various church projects
  • Flair for project work
  • You are between 18 and 35 years old.
  • Interest in working with a diverse range of people
  • Team spirit and flexibility
  • Willingness to work irregular hours (evenings and weekends)
  • Especially sought: experience with social media/multimedia work
