The Riviera-Chablais Hospital, Vaud-Valais (HRC), is an inter-cantonal reference hospital, bringing together more than 2,000 collaborators. The Rennaz Hospital Centre has more than 350 acute care beds. It is complemented by two Geriatric and Rehabilitation Clinics as well as two medical on-call services. To complete our pulmonology unit team, we are looking for a:

Chief Resident Physician M/F at 80%-100%

The main responsibilities of this position are

• Ensure outpatient and inpatient care of patients, in collaboration with senior physicians
• Participate in the supervision and training of internal medicine resident doctors
• Contribute to the development of the pulmonology unit

We require

• A federal medical diploma or an equivalent recognised qualification by MEBEKO
• A specialist title in pulmonology (or in the process of obtaining it) or a foreign title recognised by MEBEKO
• Ability to work in a team and interdisciplinary manner
• Professional commitment and a sense of responsibility
• Good command of the French language (minimum B2)

A pulmonology unit in full development, with values of excellence and kindness. The unit already has established consultations in all areas of pulmonology and sleep medicine, a complete laboratory for functional tests, a NIV unit, a therapeutic education nurse, and an outpatient pulmonary rehabilitation programme. We are setting up a complete endoscopy platform and planning a sleep laboratory.
