Job description
The EMS Nouveau Kermont is a living, support and care facility for people who can no longer live alone at home. Located in Chambésy, in the Geneva countryside, the residence can accommodate up to 70 residents and offers spacious and bright rooms. 90 staff members work within the EMS to support our residents throughout their stay and provide quality services.
To complete our teams, we are looking for:
A Qualified ASA Nursing Assistant at 80%
Your mission:
The qualified nursing assistant, within the care team, participates in the overall care of the resident by providing basic care (hygiene, feeding) and assisting the referring nurse in carrying out care. He/she ensures the comfort and well-being of the resident by supporting them in their daily life activities.
He/she collaborates with all professionals from the various EMS services in an interdisciplinary manner. The qualified nursing assistant must be able to work as part of a team and demonstrate tact, discretion, respect, listening skills and empathy towards residents and their families.
Profile sought
- ASA nursing assistant training (mandatory); Care delegation training is an asset
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in a similar position within an EMS in Switzerland (an asset);
- Good listening skills and interpersonal skills;
- Good understanding of the needs of elderly people;
- Aptitude to work in an interdisciplinary team and independently;
- Good prioritisation skills and sense of observation;
- Good knowledge of French and ability to convey written information;
- Knowledge of IT tools and care software (SIEMS an asset).
