PLC Software Developer (m/f)

Role Objective:

In this position, you develop and optimise the control software for customised automation systems. You accompany machines from programming through commissioning to continuous further development, ensuring reliable, efficient, and future-oriented automation solutions. You work closely with project management, production, and service.

Your Responsibilities:

• Programming customised machine controls in structured text with Siemens and/or Beckhoff
• Conducting internal commissioning and functional tests of the systems
• Parameterising and configuring electrical components and automation systems
• Creating, maintaining, and monitoring software documentation as well as ensuring knowledge transfer
• Further developing and optimising existing software platforms
• Providing technical support to project management, production, and service on hardware and software issues

Your Profile:

• Several years of experience in PLC programming with Structured Text
• Knowledge of Siemens TIA Portal and/or Beckhoff TwinCAT 3
• Experience in special machine construction is an advantage
• Good German and English skills, both spoken and written
• Independent, structured, and responsible working style
• Enthusiasm for automation, technology, and interconnected thinking
