Wädenswil is an attractive town on the left shore of Lake Zurich with around 26,000 inhabitants. Approximately 380 employees work in the city administration, providing comprehensive services to the population daily.

The Social Services department belongs to the Social Affairs division and is responsible for advising and supporting people with social and/or financial problems in the areas of social assistance and adult protection.

For the Social Work team within Social Services, we are seeking a committed and motivated individual from 1 July 2026 or by arrangement as

Your areas of responsibility include

• Case intake and clarification of material and formal responsibility
• Comprehensive case management in the area of economic and personal assistance
• Management of mandates in adult protection
• Management of mandates in the area of voluntary income and asset administration
• Administrative tasks
• Deputising for and supporting the team leader in the organisational and personnel management of the Social Work team (14 people)
   

What you bring

• A tertiary-level education, preferably in Social Work, ideally with further training in social insurance or law
• Leadership experience desired
• A positive attitude and strong interest in social assistance and social insurance law issues as well as in managing adult protection measures
• Administrative skills, good command of German spoken and written
• Systemic thinking, structured and efficient working style as well as resilience
• High social competence, empathy, transparency and a pronounced solution orientation
