About the job
Would you like to prepare our customers for their next mountain adventure together with a helpful, motivated team and equip them with the right equipment? Would you like to take on the specialist responsibility for the hard goods area? We are looking for you immediately or by arrangement for our branch in Kriens as Department Manager Hard Goods.
This is what you will achieve with us:
- You take on the professional responsibility for the hard goods department and gain initial leadership experience.
- You take time to advise our customers and leave a good feeling on both sides.
- You manage the assortment in your area and design the product presentation and seasonal changes.
- You regularly train your team with your expertise and induct new employees.
- You actively support all other tasks throughout the branch and develop yourself and the entire team further.
Your rucksack is packed:
- You love the mountains and actively and regularly practise mountain sports (climbing, high-altitude tours, ski touring).
- You are well acquainted with products in the climbing hard goods and ski touring area and enjoy actively furthering your education.
- You have preferably completed an apprenticeship as a retail specialist.
- You bring several years of sales experience, perhaps even in the sporting goods industry.
- You are team-oriented and enjoy sharing your knowledge.
- You are motivated to take responsibility for your own area and have already gained some leadership experience.
- You speak fluent German and can also communicate with our customers in English.
