Hairdresser in Care Homes

As part of temporary assignments at various care homes in the canton of Geneva, we are looking for a hairdresser passionate about their profession and who enjoys human contact.

You will work directly within the establishments to offer residents a moment of well-being, relaxation, and conviviality.

Your main activities:

• Perform hairdressing services tailored to the needs and wishes of the residents
• Carry out haircuts, blow-drying, setting, and hair treatments
• Adapt services to a senior clientele, with care and kindness
• Create a trusting relationship with the residents
• Respect hygiene, safety rules, and the establishment’s instructions
• Work independently and organise your appointments efficiently

Your profile

• Training as a hairdresser or equivalent professional experience
• Experience with a senior clientele is an advantage
• Excellent interpersonal skills and good listening abilities
• Patience, gentleness, and kindness
• Autonomy, punctuality, and reliability
• Neat appearance and professional attitude
• Ability to adapt to the different environments of care homes
• Driving licence and vehicle, an advantage depending on the establishments
