Carpenter for Restoration Work with a Historical Focus
Activities
- Restoring and refurbishing historic wooden floors
- Carrying out repairs and creating precise patching
- Professionally replacing damaged wood sections while respecting the original material
- Performing traditional carpentry and restoration work on historic objects
- Supporting the restoration of doors, wall and ceiling panelling
Requirements
- Completed carpenter apprenticeship with a Federal VET Diploma (EFZ) or equivalent experience
- Interest or experience in restoration craft and historic techniques
- Precise craftsmanship with a good feel for wood and materials
- Independent, careful and quality-oriented working style
- Enthusiasm for the protection and care of listed buildings
