As we rapidly expand our Direct-to-Customer (DTC) business, we are looking for a talented and driven Senior Specialist - DTC E-commerce Controller to join our dynamic team. In this role, the successful candidate will support our global digital channels, by working closely with the DTC Controlling Senior Lead to strengthen planning and reporting processes, elevate our system set-up and deliver actionable insights that drive informed decision-making and performance optimization.
Your Mission
Planning & Reporting:
- Support the budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes for the DTC E-commerce channel across our global portfolio.
- Develop and refine financial models to support business growth.
- Consolidate inputs from the digital team to provide clear, data-driven insights to the finance leadership and senior stakeholders.
Month-end closure:
- Manage the month-end closing process, ensuring accurate and timely P&L reporting.
- Work closely with accounting and other partner teams to ensure correct month-end adjustments and drive cost transparency and accountability with the digital team.
- Provide commentary on financial performance versus forecast, identifying key drivers and variances.
Analysis & Recommendations:
- Deliver actionable insights by analyzing sales performance, drivers and channel trends.
- Deep dive into digital investments to surface insights that optimize performance and accelerate growth across regions.
Process improvement & Innovation:
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives. Enhance data accuracy, streamline reporting tools, and proactively drive automation and process optimization.
- Work closely with our Anaplan team to streamline planning processes with the business and regions.
Multi-functional team collaboration:
- Act as a trusted advisor and sparring partner across finance, digital, and regional teams. Provide financial guidance and deep dive into key areas of the business to maximise ROI.
Your story
Bachelor's degree in Finance, economics or equivalent Business qualificationMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in Controlling / Finance related fieldStrong analytical, financial modeling, reporting and forecasting skillsAbility to navigate uncertainty and be solutions orientedAbility to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environmentExcellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
