About the job
Your new role
From 1 January to 31 December 2027, we offer you an exciting and varied internship at the Environment and Energy Office. You will organise the Mobility Market as a platform for smart and environmentally friendly mobility. Furthermore, you will assist with the St. Gallen Climate Week, environmental education projects, as well as campaigns for climate-friendly consumption and on the topic of environment and health.
Your tasks
- Organisation of various events (advertising, infrastructure, media work)
- Coordination with various stakeholder groups
- Collaboration on concepts, campaigns and environmental education
- Management of social media channels and websites
- Administrative tasks for the office

- You are seeking an entry into the profession after your bachelor’s degree (university, ETH or university of applied sciences) or want to gain practical experience as a basis for a master’s degree.

- You have an affinity for digital media and write with style and confidence.
- You are proactive, communicative, creative and sociable.
- You have initial experience in communication as well as knowledge and/or interest in the topics of environment, energy and mobility.

The Environment and Energy Office is committed to a healthy environment, sustainable use of energy and climate protection in the City of St. Gallen. We inform and advise, initiate projects and carry out statutory enforcement tasks. The focus of our work is on the goals and measures of the Energy Concept 2050, the Environmental Concept and the Mobility Concept 2040. Public relations on the topics of environment, energy, mobility and sustainable development is of great importance.
