The Foundation Centre for Adults in Difficulty (CAAD) welcomes adult women and men affected in their mental health. Most of these individuals are in a complex situation as mental illness is associated with disorders in social, somatic, behavioural areas and/or resulting from addiction.
The CAAD offers interdisciplinary support and bio-psycho-social services in a day centre as well as in various housing solutions - residential home, community apartment, and protected apartments. The CAAD also provides socio-educational support at home for people living in private residences.
The CAAD receives people from all over French-speaking Switzerland and accepts voluntary civil placements or placements for non-urgent assistance purposes and also admits persons under institutional penal therapeutic measures.
To complete our Therapies sector team, we are looking for:
A FSP PSYCHOLOGIST at 60%
Your mission:
You ensure the psychological and therapeutic referral and follow-up of the beneficiaries entrusted to you. You build and coordinate their therapeutic support taking into account their needs, their journey, and their resources. Your practice is part of close collaboration with the psychiatrist and interdisciplinary teams. Through your expertise and clinical insight, you contribute to understanding complex situations and to the development of the individualised project for each beneficiary.
Your tasks:
Within your role, you are notably required to:
• Clinically, provide individual psychological care for beneficiaries you are responsible for
• Co-facilitate group therapies on various themes
• Manage the therapeutic part of the administrative file for beneficiaries you are responsible for
• Write, in collaboration with the psychiatrist, therapeutic reports intended for various civil and penal authorities
• Organise and participate in interdisciplinary meetings with the consulting psychiatrist, management, and representatives of different sectors
• Work as part of a team with internal and external partners while respecting confidentiality within a context of shared internal secrecy
• Participate in annual review interviews, network meetings, and the development of Individualised Support Projects (PAI) in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
• Participate in various conferences as well as team supervisions
• Collaborate in the development of specific offers in the Therapies sector (training, prevention activities, awareness for staff and/or beneficiaries)
• Contribute to the safety of the living environment
• Contribute to the organisation of the sector
Your profile:
• Master’s degree in clinical psychology
• Training in psychotherapy (completed, ongoing, or willingness to undertake this training) is an asset
• Several years of experience with adults in the field of psychopathology and mental disability
• Interest in forensic psychiatry
• Commitment to the institution’s goals and its support concept
• Ability to work independently while having a strong team spirit
• Ability to work within an interdisciplinary team
• Interpersonal skills and abilities in listening, communication, negotiation, pedagogy, facilitation
• Capacity for anticipation, initiative, action, and sense of responsibility
• Interest in crisis management, good organisation, and sense of priorities
• Good writing skills
