Apprenticeship as a Maintenance Specialist in Workshop Services
Your entry into the world of workshop services starting summer 2026
During your three-year training, you will be active in workshop services and work at various locations such as the workshop, the disposal site, the wastewater treatment plant, and the cemetery. Together with your team, you will ensure that the municipal infrastructure is maintained, safe, and functional.
Your tasks
In your training as a Maintenance Specialist EFZ, you are responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the municipal infrastructure. You will carry out maintenance and cleaning work on roads, squares, and green areas, repair surface damage, and maintain the sewage system. Additionally, you will take care of snow removal in winter and the installation of signage and boards. In your work, you will also be in direct contact with the public, for example, when you assist them with disposal questions. Your activity requires manual skills, technical understanding, and physical resilience.
