JOB PURPOSE:
As part of his job, the maintenance technician masters all the technical equipment within the hotel. He manages all interventions related to maintaining the hotel in good condition, such as sanitary, electrical, mechanical, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, swimming pool, hammam, small carpentry, audiovisual, kitchen and laundry areas. He manages the stock of parts and consumables related to these interventions. He participates in supplier relations and is proactive. He is versatile in his work, flexible with schedules and available to his colleagues. He participates in fire alarm management and ensures the proper functioning of security installations. The maintenance technician also carries out repairs in our employee house on Rue Monthoux.
He reports to the Department Head.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Must always have exemplary conduct. Must respect all Conduct Standards and Hotel Regulations. Must respect Hygiene and Safety rules as well as Standards and Procedures within his service.
2. Always be punctual, diligent and inform the Manager in time in case of problems or delays.
3. Have good communication with other departments and with clients.
4. Participate in fire alarm management in close collaboration with security.
5. Manage and immediately report any incident, even minor ones.
6. Perform preventive maintenance in rooms (Perfect Room Program) and public areas.
7. Perform preventive maintenance on all electromechanical equipment.
8. Assist in electrical, plumbing, kitchen, laundry, refrigeration, ventilation, heating, air conditioning and pool work.
9. Program televisions and have good knowledge of the in-room entertainment system and Apple TV.
10. Take meter readings, temperatures, pressures, and building energy.
11. Contact companies for repairs.
12. Manage the stock of parts and consumables.
13. Keep the workplace clean and tidy.
14. Know how to pass instructions between shifts and read logbook messages with signature for approval.
15. Complete all assigned tasks safely and respecting materials, tools and equipment.
16. Take all necessary precautions when handling tools, chemicals, ladders and other potentially risky equipment.
17. Assist colleagues with all necessary repairs according to his abilities.
18. Be versatile and know how to manage task priorities.
19. Answer phone calls respecting standards.
20. Respond to any client maintenance requests in their rooms or public areas of the hotel within a reasonable time.
21. Assist clients with special requests, such as opening their suitcases when they have lost their keys.
22. Handle any emergency situation, in terms of safety, such as fire or power outages etc., and know who to call or inform as quickly as possible.
23. Behave professionally at all times, in accordance with the prestigious Four Seasons standards.
24. Complete all assigned tasks on time.
25. Apply and master quality standards related to your function.
26. Follow procedures related to timekeeping and uniforms.
27. Maintain good relations with other employees.
28. Respect Four Seasons procedures.
