An established forwarding company is strengthening its sea freight team and is looking for a knowledgeable person in the field of sea freight, as the volume of shipments is continuously increasing (due to newly acquired customers).

Tasks

processing orders (order checking and recording), focus on export.
scheduling transports worldwide (especially dangerous goods)
preparing transport documentation
proactive monitoring of the transport process
communicating with customers and suppliers (internal and external)
generating invoices
posting and checking supplier invoices
managing own quotation and work documents
administrative tasks related to forwarding business

Requirements

Training as a freight forwarding clerk
Experience in sea freight desired / also secure French skills (at forwarding level)

IT

Knowledge of MS Office programmes

Languages

German: mother tongue + very good
English: mother tongue + good
French: mother tongue: good (due to customers in Western Switzerland)
