As a Senior Credit Officer, you take responsibility for demanding credit decisions, apply your expertise purposefully, and develop the credit business of our bank together with your team. With your ideas, you actively shape our future – because together we offer more than banking.

We are a team of seven credit specialists. Together, we are responsible for the credit policy of BEKB as well as the credit decisions for our key clients and corporate customers. To strengthen our team, we are looking for you.

• You advise and support our financial coaches for corporate clients and key clients in the analysis, assessment, and structuring of new as well as existing credit engagements
• You assess and decide on large and mostly complex credit transactions in close collaboration with the financial coaches for corporate clients and key clients
• You structure demanding financing solutions and ensure risk-conscious credit granting
• You monitor credit engagements with an increased risk profile, recognise the need for action early, and develop viable solutions together with the parties involved
• You ensure the consistent compliance with our credit policy and actively contribute your sound expertise to its application and further development

• You have several years of professional experience in corporate client advisory or in credit decision-making at a bank and possess pronounced analytical skills as well as proven expertise in the assessment and decision of large and complex credit transactions
• You have a solid business and/or economics education and training with a focus on Banking & Finance or Corporate Finance
• You have in-depth knowledge of corporate financing, especially in the areas of operational and investment financing as well as structured financing. Experience with special financing such as business succession or M&A transactions is a plus
• You convince with an independent, responsible, and team-oriented working style as well as a winning appearance
• You communicate appropriately with different stakeholders and have confident German language skills in spoken and written form. Good English skills are required; French skills are an advantage
