The Thun Animal Clinic is a center for small animal medicine and one of the largest clinics in Switzerland. In addition to general veterinary services, our clients also have access to specialists in the fields of surgery/orthopedics, internal medicine, dermatology, cardiology, neurology, rehab, etc. A motivated team of around 80 employees is committed daily to the concerns of our clients and their pets.

Veterinary Medicine Students on Night Duty (m/f/d)
You don’t just want to learn at night, but be right in the middle of it? You are interested in emergencies, clinical routine, and real responsibility instead of just watching? Then we have the right part-time job for you. For the Thun Animal Clinic, we are looking for veterinary medicine students from the 4th year of study who regularly support us on night duty. The workload is flexible – perfectly combinable with rotations, exam phases, and university routine.
What you do with us at night:
Hospital rounds (approx. 10:00 PM & 12:00 AM) during which medications are administered, dogs are taken outside, and kennels are cleaned
Monitoring hospitalized patients
Supporting veterinarians in emergencies
Reception of pet owners & admission of patients
