Your Area of Responsibility
- Ensuring a high-quality quarterly closing in close cooperation with the extended finance team and specialist departments
- Conducting variance analyses (actual vs. budget/forecast) and commenting on quarterly results
- Independently preparing well-founded analyses in the area of occupational pensions and preparing decision-relevant foundations for management
- Further development of market and business analysis as well as the strategy cockpit for occupational pensions to strengthen targeted corporate management
- Analysis and interpretation of actuarial key figures and deriving implications for financial and corporate strategy
- Audience-appropriate presentation of results, scenarios and recommendations for action to internal stakeholders
- Active participation in the further development of controlling processes as well as in the expansion of the management information system with a focus on data quality, transparency and automation
- Assuming additional responsibility and development perspective as a deputy leadership role
Your Experience
- Several years of experience in controlling or a comparable function
- Completed studies (e.g. business administration, business mathematics) or a comparable qualification; further training in the financial sector is an advantage
- Industry knowledge in the insurance sector, preferably in life insurance
- Experience in cooperation with specialist departments and management as well as enjoyment in developing joint solutions
- Interest in data, systems and modern tools (e.g. BI solutions); practical experience is an advantage
- Analytical and conceptual skills as well as strength in the structured preparation of complex topics
- Clear and audience-appropriate communication as well as confidence in dealing with different stakeholders
- Independent, structured working style, initiative and willingness to actively further develop topics
