As an IT Specialist EFZ Platform Development, you ensure that IT infrastructures – from local systems to the cloud – run stably, securely, and efficiently. Netcloud AG plans, builds, and operates IT infrastructures in the areas of network & wireless, communication (telephony, video), security & cyber defence, data centre, virtualisation, and cloud. We offer our approximately 600 customers IT solutions based on technologies from Cisco, NetApp, VMware by Broadcom, Palo Alto, as well as cloud solutions with Azure and AWS.

As an apprentice in platform development, you will work on secure, available IT platforms for our customers. Typical tasks include:

• You plan, install, and operate physical and virtual server systems and their services.
• You assist in planning local networks (LAN/WLAN), help with the selection, installation, and configuration of network components, and monitor ongoing operations.
• You monitor systems and services, detect faults, and contribute to stable, high-performance platforms.
• You support the protection of data, systems, and networks from attacks, e.g. through permissions, system hardening, or security measures.
• You help update systems, resolve faults, and learn structured troubleshooting.
• Good grades in mathematics, English, and science (secondary school level A)
• Logical, abstract thinking
• Interest in technology
• Reliability, perseverance, and solution orientation
• Team orientation and strong communication skills
• Desire to continuously develop professionally

We offer you an exciting and varied apprenticeship in an attractive, innovative company. Collegial teamwork, open communication, and respectful interaction are a matter of course for us. In the first year

of your four-year training, you will complete an external basic year at the ZLI in Zurich to acquire technical fundamentals. Afterwards, you will enter directly into the second year with us. For qualified apprentices, we offer attendance at the vocational baccalaureate school.
