Foreman Succulent Collection Zurich 80 - 100% (m/f/d)

What is my role?

You take on the personnel, operational and professional leadership of a team with six succulent gardeners and assistants

• You manage your own area (rock garden and display area), cultivate and document this plant stock according to scientific principles

• You design and document new plantings and support horticultural work

• As the occupational safety officer (BeSiBe), you take responsibility for monitoring, compliance and enforcement of occupational safety

• You continuously expand your knowledge about the plant stock, conduct culture consultations online and on site, coordinate the operational support of events and occasionally give tours for specialist groups

What do I need to be successful?

Gardener EFZ with knowledge of succulent plant diversity and their cultivation and professional examination as gardener FA (senior gardener or comparable training and further education)

• Several years of experience in a botanical garden is an advantage

• Strong leadership and engaging personality with an eye for the big picture

• Fluent and confident German with good English skills

• High customer and service orientation and digitally proficient
