The Waldheim Foundation offers people with intellectual, physical and psychological disabilities a variety of residential and day-structure places in six residential homes. More than 320 employees are committed to the high quality of life of around 220 clients.
With immediate effect (fixed-term until 31 December 2026) we are looking for a:
Cook 100%
What to expect:
- Preparation of daily menus for residents and staff
- Creative freedom in menu planning
- Purchasing and proper storage of food and consumables
- Regular working hours
- Carrying out cleaning tasks in the kitchen area
- Involving residents in daily tasks taking into account their abilities
What we expect:
- Completed training as a cook, preferably with additional training in dietary cooking
- Several years of professional experience
- Enjoyment in supporting and guiding people with intellectual and/or psychological disabilities
- Humorous and open to new things
- Flexibility for special occasions
- Resilience and reliability in demanding situations
- Good German language skills in spoken and written form as well as basic knowledge of Windows and MS Office
- Open-minded and communicative personality with high social competence
