The EOC, the multi-site hospital of Ticino, is present with its institutes throughout the entire cantonal territory for a total of 1,000 beds. To complete our Catering Service team at the EOC Rehabilitation Clinic (CREOC) in Novaggio, we are looking for a
Catering Employee AFC (50%)
Profile:
The future collaborator feels comfortable in a multicultural context, knows how to manage interpersonal relationships with patients, can ensure quality while respecting established times and procedures, and enjoys collaborative and team work.
Possessing functional and technical skills, they can manage significant workloads and are dedicated to meeting the expectations and requests of internal and external clients with a strong spirit of collaboration.
Necessary requirements:
- Federal certificate of capacity as a catering employee or hotel employee are preferred qualifications
- Preferably previous experience as a waiter or commis de salle with table service
- Preferably professional experience gained in the socio-health sector (hospital, clinic, nursing home) or in hotel structures
- Availability for shift work (including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays) with flexible hours, especially split shifts
- Excellent reception skills towards internal/external clients with good communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Orientation towards change and development
- Excellent knowledge of the Italian language (spoken and written) and a second national language
- Knowledge of common IT tools
