Transport Manager Switzerland (m/f) 100%

Your tasks

• Strategic and economic overall responsibility for the transport sector Switzerland including transport strategy, network design, make-or-buy decisions, and cost control
• Optimization and management of transport operations: routes, fleet development, in-house/external transports as well as selection and performance of external logistics partners
• Leadership and further development of the transport teams as well as ensuring service levels, occupational safety, and compliance

Your qualifications

• Several years of leadership experience in the transport or logistics environment
• Solid practical experience in dispatching, route planning, and transport management
• Proven success in optimizing transport costs and fleets
• Higher education in transport, logistics, or supply chain management
• Entrepreneurial, analytical thinking and decisiveness
• Negotiation-level communication skills in German and French (at least B2)
