Construction Project Manager for Large Projects, 80-100% (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

• You will take over the construction management of the currently largest residential construction project in the city of St. Gallen with 127 condominiums and a high-end office building
• The project starts around the end of 2024 and is expected to last 4 years, followed by new interesting projects
• You will manage the construction site on location, coordinate the involved specialist planners as well as companies, authorities and clients
• You will also be responsible for construction administration, cost estimation, tenders, price negotiations and award applications
• Regular and intensive contact with builders, architects, authorities and clients is also part of your demanding tasks
• Furthermore, you are responsible for cost monitoring, scheduling and ensuring execution quality
• Conducting inspections, ensuring defect rectification, handover and final accounting complete your highly interesting range of tasks
• The workload can be between 80 and 100%, depending on your preference

Requirements

• You have training as an architectural draughtsperson / building draughtsperson, carpenter, bricklayer or an equivalent basic construction trade education (m/f/d)
• You have already gained professional experience as a construction manager in Switzerland and are familiar with standards, laws and regulations
• Further training as a construction manager or construction technician is an advantage
• Good IT skills with Messerli Bauad and Office facilitate your work
• Do you consider yourself holistic in thinking, assertive and well organised?
