Presentation
The mission of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation HUB is to support the entrepreneurial spirit on the UNIL campus. Within this framework, this role aims to lead an entrepreneurship support programme that supports early-stage projects from the UNIL community (students, researchers, professors, graduates, staff) with a social and/or environmental impact. Each year the UCreate programme supports more than 120 projects and 200 participants from the 7 faculties of UNIL.

Your activities
• Lead entrepreneurship support programmes for the University of Lausanne community:
o Be a driving force for the programme strategy in line with the HUB strategy
o Be a driving force for the programme design: methodology, content and process
o Manage internal and external resources available at the HUB to ensure the smooth running of the programme, including setting up and managing partnerships
o Manage the programme budget
• Lead and facilitate cohorts within these entrepreneurship programmes:
o Selection, monitoring and support of entrepreneurial projects during the programme: managing communication with projects, reviewing and validating financial support requests, reviewing participant satisfaction feedback for improvement
o Linking with the regional entrepreneurial ecosystem.
• Develop, federate and animate the community related to these entrepreneurship support programmes:
o Define the community strategy (programme alumni, UNIL entrepreneurs, coaches, trainers and jury members)
o Monitor and animate the community: integration of new members, organising events
o Follow-up of alumni projects from the programmes
o Manage Villanova (shared workspace): managing the space, reservation requests, liaising with various UNIL services
• Strengthen links with faculties and other University of Lausanne services around entrepreneurship support programmes:
o Maintain collaborations with professors within existing courses
o Collaborate with various UNIL entities and organise entrepreneurship workshops
o Participate in UNIL events and as a jury member for other entrepreneurial project programmes and competitions
Your profile
You have a strong interest in innovation and responsible entrepreneurship and possess solid training (design thinking, business model, entrepreneurship), ideally at Master’s level. You have experience in managing complex projects and programmes, and are comfortable supporting entrepreneurship programme participants at every stage of the process, from idea generation to pilot testing.
You are able to evaluate programme effectiveness using data, implement operational processes (CRM, workflows, automation) and monitor budget management, including fundraising. You also have experience in developing partnerships, community management and coordinating mentor or business coach networks.
You know how to lead small multidisciplinary teams, work independently within a small dynamic team and manage programmes in English.
Additional assets: personal experience as a coach for entrepreneurial projects or entrepreneur and an active network in the local entrepreneurial world
