Apprenticeship as a Laboratory Technician in Chemistry EFZ, Zurich 2026
Have you ever wondered how the water quality of your favorite swimming lake is determined or whether our drinking water is free of pollutants? In your training as a Laboratory Technician EFZ in Chemistry, you will find out!
You will collect and analyze environmental samples from the waters in the canton of Zurich in the laboratory. Using the latest technology, you will identify substances and pollutants and conduct special investigations – for example, on pesticides and other micro-pollutants. During your training, you will get to know the waters (rivers, lakes, etc.) and the canton of Zurich from a new perspective.
Currently, you are attending secondary school A, and your favorite subjects include mathematics and chemistry/biology. Do you enjoy trying new things, have a passion for new technologies, and work precisely and focused? The building authority supports you if you want to complete your apprenticeship with a vocational baccalaureate.
