Operations Manager (m/f/d) 100%
The Zurich Brickworks offer ceramic solutions for the entire building envelope. For over 150 years, we have made living more natural and building easier with our clay building materials. From a simple raw material, we develop sophisticated systems for roofs, walls, and facades. Since 2020, we have been part of the swisspor Group.
To strengthen our team in Istighofen TG, we are looking for a strong leadership Operations Manager.
Your Tasks
- Leadership: Management and organization of the Istighofen plant with 3 production lines (roof tiles, clay accessories, bricks, and maintenance) and about 50 employees.
- Coordination: Monitoring the annual depot build-up and the organizational management of the clay and sand pit.
- Development: Professional and personal development of the team as well as implementation of the corporate culture.
- Optimization: Improvement of infrastructure, processes, and product quality.
- Goal Setting: Development and implementation of annual objectives and budgets.
- Strategy: Participation in strategy development and implementation of guidelines.
- Investment Management: Implementation of investment projects and ensuring the procurement of operating resources.
- Quality Assurance: Monitoring operational data and implementing measures to reduce costs and ensure quality.
You Bring
- Education: Technical basic training and further education at FH level in relevant areas (e.g., production technology, mechanical engineering, process engineering).
- Experience: Several years of experience in the manufacturing industry and in leading interdisciplinary teams.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to master complex challenges.
- Personality: Pragmatic, communicative, and solution-oriented leadership personality.
- Location: Residence ideally max. 30 minutes from the plant.
