Several Product Pre-Development Engineer Intern positions are available starting January/February 2026 at our two sites in Sonceboz-Sombeval and Boncourt.
Within a Pre-Development team, you will have the unique opportunity to participate in the development of new technological solutions in the field of mechatronic drive systems (actuators, electric motors).
Your missions will include:
- Analysis of existing solutions: conduct benchmarking of current products to identify improvement opportunities.
- Technological research: study and explore new technological solutions to improve the performance of our mechatronic products, particularly in terms of compactness, weight, power density, and durability, etc.
- Concept proposal: develop product architectures and concepts based on technical criteria and competitiveness.
- Design and validation: carry out designs and validate results through mechanical, thermal, and magnetic simulations.
- Prototyping: design and build functional prototypes and demonstrators.
- Laboratory testing: test and validate prototype performance.
- Documentation: write project documentation, including study reports, justification files, and calculation notes.
