The Section of Slavic Languages and Civilisations and South Asia (SLAS) of the Faculty of Arts at the University of Lausanne is advertising a position for an assistant professor in Russian literature and civilisation (19th-21st centuries).
Additional Information
Start date: 1 February 2027
Contract duration: two years, renewable once for 2 years. *According to the current academic planning, this position is not intended to be permanent.
Work rate: 80%
Workplace: Lausanne-Dorigny
Your Activities
Teaching load of 4 hours per week per semester in Russian literature and history of ideas at Bachelor and Master levels. Supervision of students, examination assessments, supervision of final dissertations, and participation in the organisation of SLAS Section activities. Research in areas related to the position.
Your Profile
PhD in Russian literature or equivalent qualification (thesis submitted at the time of starting the position).
Excellent command of French and Russian is essential. Specialisation: Russian literature of the 19th-21st centuries, history of ideas. Experience in the field of translation studies is desirable.
