About the job
The Commercial Vocational School Wetzikon, with 2400 learners in basic education and 450 course participants in continuing education, is a leading vocational school for future-oriented teaching and learning. We stand for demanding and targeted education for all who want to advance professionally. The Construction and Wood department makes a central contribution to the training of qualified specialists for the construction and wood industry of tomorrow.
At the start of the 2026/2027 school year, we are looking for a vocational school teacher mbA (approx. 60%).
Your tasks
You will teach the specialist subjects in the basic education of draftspersons specialising in Architecture EFZ and, if possible, in continuing education in the Construction Manager course (preparatory course for the HFP). As part of the mbA employment, you will take on additional tasks in school and course development as well as in team and specialist group work. You will engage in teaching and course development and actively shape the school culture of GBW.
Your profile
You have several years of successful professional experience in architecture and/or construction management, engage with current developments in the architecture scene and construction industry, and are interested in pedagogical issues. You have didactic skills and enjoy imparting your current specialist knowledge in level-appropriate teaching concepts to our learners in basic education and our students in continuing education.
With your professional qualification as an architect ETH or FH and didactic training with a teaching diploma for vocational instruction in a full-time capacity, you meet the requirements for the position.
