In this responsible position, you organise and carry out repair work on production equipment. The activity takes place at modern locations in Switzerland and offers assignments abroad. On behalf of our client, we are looking for a
Polymechanic with Maintenance and Servicing Experience
Tasks
- You organise and perform maintenance and repair work on machines, systems and technical equipment at the Zurich and St. Gallen sites.
- You troubleshoot and independently carry out unplanned repairs during ongoing production operations.
- You assist with machine overhauls at our international production sites in Austria and Hungary (approx. 3 assignments of 2 weeks per year).
- You work conventionally on lathes, milling, drilling and grinding machines and undertake various welding and manual tasks.
- You plan, coordinate and carry out preventive maintenance measures.
- You procure spare parts, manufacture some yourself and manage the spare parts warehouse.
- You actively contribute your technical know-how to projects and support their implementation.
Requirements
- Completed training as a machine or polymechanic.
- Sound knowledge in assembly technology, pneumatics and conventional manufacturing.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in an industrial environment.
- Fluent German skills, both spoken and written.
- Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style.
- High resilience, flexibility and enjoyment of varied tasks.
- Willingness to undertake occasional assignments abroad.
