What is my role?

• Responsibility for the strategic direction and operational management of category management and procurement at executive level

• Design and implementation of assortment strategies, pricing and further development of private labels

• Professional and disciplinary leadership of the category management and procurement team

• Responsibility for sales and margin targets as well as initiation of optimisation measures

• Representation in the group-wide purchasing association and active shaping of the purchasing strategy

• Participation in international trade fairs for trend observation and supplier acquisition

What do I need to be successful?

• Completed business administration training or comparable qualification

• Extensive leadership experience in the strategic development of purchasing and procurement structures

• Profound knowledge of the retail business

• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take overall responsibility at management level

• Expertise in eCommerce assortment design and procurement

• Negotiation-level German skills, French/English an advantage
