Located in the charming municipality of Lavigny, in the heart of the canton of Vaud, the Pietro Sarto Medical Center aims to improve the care pathway and follow-up of children with neurological, developmental, and behavioral disorders. By working in synergy with various health professionals, we ensure comprehensive and personalized care.
We are looking for our Pietro Sarto center a:
Pediatrician with interest in neurodevelopment (M/F) at 50-100%
YOUR OBJECTIVES
- Ensure complete neurological care for children and adolescents: assessments, diagnoses, therapeutic plans, longitudinal follow-up, and network coordination.
- Actively participate in the development of the specialized unit within our medical centers.
- Promote collegial and integrated functioning of the structure by closely collaborating with other specialists and professionals of the center.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of clinical practices and, depending on interest, to internal training or awareness activities with partner teams.
YOU HAVE
- A federal specialist title in pediatrics, or equivalent recognized by MEBEKO, with additional training or interest in neuropediatrics, child development, or confirmed experience in neurodevelopmental follow-up (ASD, ADHD, learning disorders, global developmental delay, prematurity, etc.).
- Proven competence in standardized clinical evaluation, coordination of interdisciplinary assessments (speech therapy, occupational therapy, psychotherapy, psychomotricity, etc.).
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and collaborate with families, schools, and other network stakeholders.
- Initiative, organizational skills, and a genuine sensitivity to the special needs of children and adolescents.
- A strong interest in continuously updating knowledge in neurology, as well as enthusiasm to contribute to the dissemination and teaching of these best practices.
