Would you like to shape the dynamic and urban region around Zurich Airport with around 45 employees and in close cooperation with the municipalities? As Head of Road Region, you are responsible for both the structural and operational road maintenance, as well as the further development of the transport infrastructure.

What you will achieve with us
- You lead the road region with around 45 employees in two maintenance districts and bear overall responsibility for the operation and maintenance of our transport facilities, as well as the implementation of road construction projects.
- As the owner of the state roads, you maintain dialogue with municipalities, authorities and the public and act as the central contact person.
- Together with your project managers, you prioritise, control and realise maintenance projects throughout the entire project cycle.
- You drive innovations in civil engineering forward and further develop standards for sustainable and economical road maintenance.
- You actively participate as a member of the management of the Road Inspectorate.
What you bring with you
- You are skilled in dealing with various stakeholders and can adeptly respond to different concerns.
- Through your strong negotiation skills, you find good solutions for the parties involved.
- You have several years of leadership experience and know how to successfully lead and develop operational teams as well as project managers.
- You have a completed degree as a civil engineer or a comparable qualification as well as solid professional experience in civil engineering.
- You recognise developments in civil engineering early and actively promote topics such as sustainability, digitalisation or new construction methods.
