As an engineer at Deutsche Bahn, you ensure that Germany's largest rail transport fleet is always kept running at the highest quality.
Your tasks:
- Depending on your focus, you take responsibility for technical systems or infrastructures at the Cottbus plant
- At the interface with production, you ensure availability and operational safety
- You are responsible for planning and controlling maintenance measures
- You are responsible for quality, safety, and operator requirements in the respective specialist area
- You manage technical systems in machinery, automation, and/or track infrastructure technology
- You are also responsible for the technical and commercial tendering of services and contracts
- Together with internal and external partners, you coordinate projects, service providers, and improvements
- Reporting and analysing KPI data related to maintenance processes are part of your duties
Your profile:
- You have successfully completed a university degree in a technical field
- You bring professional experience in at least one relevant specialist area of the position
- You have knowledge in planning and implementing technical maintenance measures
- You handle different stakeholders confidently and in a structured manner
- Ideally, you have experience with technical systems, infrastructure, or automation solutions
- You proactively drive assigned topics with a strong service orientation, contribute your own ideas, and actively participate in further development
- You succeed in conducting external company instructions and coordination
- Initiative, responsibility, and a solution-oriented working style characterise you
