What is my role?
Our client is the market-leading vehicle glass specialist throughout Switzerland and is looking for a committed individual as Deputy Head of Finance (m/f/d) at 100%.
Your tasks include:
Supporting the Head of Finance in all finance-related tasks and deputising during their absence
Responsibility for the proper management of financial accounting
Advising and supporting accounts receivable and accounts payable accounting
Providing competent telephone information to customers and suppliers
Assisting with monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
Supporting budgeting, forecasts and financial reporting
Monitoring, ensuring and further developing the internal control system (ICS)
Ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory and internal requirements
Contact person for auditors as well as internal and external stakeholders
Participation in cross-departmental projects as well as process optimisations and digitalisation initiatives in the finance area
Preparation of analyses, evaluations and decision-making bases for management
What do I need to be successful?
Commercial basic training
Further training as a specialist in finance and accounting with a federal diploma or higher business management training (HF/FH)
Several years of professional experience in finance and accounting
Sound knowledge in accounts receivable, accounts payable and general ledger accounting as well as in closing tasks
Experience in the internal control system (ICS) and compliance requirements
Initial leadership experience is an advantage
Independent, precise, structured and solution-oriented working style
Strong affinity for numbers and a pronounced sense of responsibility
Service-oriented and communicative personality
Team player, resilient and discreet
Very good German and French skills, spoken and written
Italian skills are an advantage
